I wanted to take a small break from the character design oriented work, and work in the style I had been working on before i pursed character design. I still maintain a very strong conceptual element in with a importance in narrative, combining more organic figures and graphic elements in my work. These characteristics can be seen in my previous works such as Phantom pt.1, pt 2, Rouge Soiree, and La Pinta. These paintings were all painted traditionally in oil, acrylic, and gauche. I wanted to transfer these elements into my digital paintings.
